AMU ENTRANCE TEST CENTRE AT USTM
To a great relief of large
number of students of North east who aspire to prosecute various courses of
studies in Aligarh Muslim University, the university has opened an Entrance test
centre at University of Science and Technology(USTM),Khanapara,9thMile Guwahati-about
six km from Dispur. Staring the centre in 2015, the Aligarh Muslim University
will conduct admission test at USTM for admission for 2016-17 session ondates
announced by the AMU. This year the admission test will be conducted for
admission in B.Tech, MBBS, BDS,Diploma in Engineering, Senior Secondary School
Certificate,BA(Hons),BSc(Hons),B.Com(Hons).For details of admission procedure,
application forms and admission tests schedule, students may visit AMU website.
Earlier the students from North East had to go to Aligarh or few test centres
outside region to take the admission test. Realising the inconvenience of the
students the ERD Foundation Guwahati approached AMU for holding the admission
tests in Guwahati and offered to provide all logistical support including the
test venue. As result AMU authority has opened the test centre at USTM FOR North
East Students. The USTM will make arrangement for transportation of students
from Khanapara to USTM and provide other support.
