Dr. PRADYUT KUMAR GOSWAMI
 Dr.
P. K. Goswami did his Post Graduation from IIT Madars, Ph.D in Electrical
Engineering from University of London, UK, and DIC from Imperial College. He has
been awarded Post Doctoral fellowship under JSPS- Scheme of Govt. of Japan for
doing Post Doctoral Research in 1998. He is the founder Vice Chancellor of Assam
Science & Technology University, Guwahati, also former Director under Govt. of
Assam, Kahilipara. Worked as Principal in Assam Engineering College, Jalukbari,
Guwahati till 2006 also Dr. Goswami was Secretary & Chairman of IE(I), Guwahati.
He was also the board member of BOPT & NITTR, Kolkata.
He has almost 40 years of experience in education sector and participated and
contributed to higher education as resource person. He has visited Manila,
Philippines under Colombo Plan for the program of Skill Development. During his
Ph.D degree from the United State, he has worked as Academic Visitor where he
was involved in the collaboration area with NGC, UK. He has signed MoU with
Curtin University, Australia in the field of Gap Analysis of technical education
in the state of Assam in 2015while he was the Vice Chancellor of Assam Science &
Technology University, Guwahati.
Dr. Goswami has considerable number of publications in different International
and National journals. He has also successfully guided four students who were
awarded Ph.D scholars while seven more are undergoing research. He was also the
executive committee and court member of Gauhati University and Dibrugarh
University and selection committee member of Central Agricultural University,
Manipur.
