As per the direction of the Hon�ble Supreme Court of India, the institute will
strictly follow the �UGC regulation on curbing the menace in higher Educational
Institutions 2009�. In accordance with these regulation the admitted student as
well the parents concern must have to submit two individual affidavits as per
format.
Statutory Warning
Ragging of any student is a criminal offence and stringent measures have to be
taken for curbing the menace of ragging in educational institutions. USTM
administration is very concious of its responsibilities in this regard and
students and parents need not harbour undue apprehensions, and should report any
incident immediately to the university authorities, and stringent punishment
will be meted out to the culprit. The Statutory warning displayed below is also
displayed in the university under instructions from the University Grant
Commission(UGC).
�If any incident of ragging comes to the notice of the authority, the concerned
student shall be given liberty to explain and if his explanation is not found
satisfactory, the authority would expel him from the institution.� Any students
facing any problem in this regard should immediately report the matter to the
Anti- ragging Committee constituted in the University.
